The Blacket is located on the corner of King and George Street in the central business district – around 10 minutes walk to the harbour and a few minutes stroll to Darling Harbour and the main shopping areas. The hotel has a young modern feel to it, and at weekends the hotel often hosts private parties. The rooms are designed with grey carpeting, dark coloured headboards grey furniture & mushroom walls which provides a dark and moody ambience.

Rooms
The rooms feature queen size beds (king or twin are also available), mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities. Most rooms have a shower, except the Loft Suites which have a Jacuzzi bath. Two bedroom apartments are also available and some rooms also have washing machine facilitates.

The Terrace rooms on the 7^th Floor have terrace access and large floor to ceiling windows (although they do not get direct sunlight)
The Cityscape Loft Suites have a Jacuzzi bath.
The Penthouse Terrace Suite on the 8^th Floor has a huge terrace for parties or entertaining
The two bedroom apartments feature two bedrooms and separate living area

Although there is a sink and full mini bar fridge, there are no cooking facilities or personal safes in the rooms.
