Stunning overflow pool with Caldera Views
Perched on the cliffs, high above the Aegean sea is a romantic hideaway with its own private "Garden of Eden" - colourful vegetation contrasts with the dark volcanic rock and white of the buildings. Located just a short walk from Oia, the most charming village in Santorini (next door to Ikies traditional houses) is Perivolas Traditional Houses. On a sloping cliff-side plot, the cave-like rooms feature white-washed walls, balconies with reclining deck chairs and all rooms have Caldera views. The real reason to visit Perivolas though, is to experience its stunning infinity pool. Every hotel should have a wow factor, and the Perivolas pool is one of the classic images that identifies the Greek Islands - perfect calm waters that magically extend all the way to the Volcano. Don't be surprised if the pool looks familiar - it's been the feature of magazine photo shoots and is a CondeNast favourite.

Rooms
The hotel features 19 houses where simplicity is the main concept - there are no TV's, Internet or HiFi's in the rooms, so the focus is on enjoying some peace and the wonderful views. The rooms are carved out from the volcanic rock to provide "Cave-style" rooms - all houses feature vaulted ceilings, spacious rooms, domed bathrooms. Junior suites have open plan layouts, while superior suites have a separate bedroom and living area. From the stone terraces of each house, there is a breathtaking panorama, from the azure sky to the shimmering waters below.

The Deluxe Suite has a private outdoor Jacuzzi and steam room.

The Perivolas Suite has a private pool, outdoor Jacuzzi and steam room.

(Note Low Season is April and October; May - September is High Season.

Food & Breakfast
A simple continental breakfast (fruit, bread, ham, cheese, cereal) is served on each house's balcony and cold snacks are available throughout the afternoon. Full restaurant facilities are also available

Facilities & Technology
Infinity pool, heated outdoor Jacuzzi, kitchenettes and free transfers to the airport or ferry terminal.

Wireless internet is available at reception. Other facilities include air conditioning, direct dial phones, safe, bathrobes and slippers.
