The Balmoral Hotel combines the noble character of a Scottish baronial home with the classic sophistication of an international hotel. It is located at the most prestigious address in the heart of the city centre at the top of Princes Street, close to the central railway station, Waverley.
Many of the 188 bedrooms offer superb views of Edinburgh Castle, including the 20 suites (4 of which have four-poster beds). The restaurant, "Hadrian's Bistro" is bright, modern and informal and "Number One" offers more traditional surroundings with plush and sophisticated decor where the tables are well spaced to ensure that you can have a private conversation and the food offers the best of Scotland's natural produce. Enjoy a pint of real ale in NB's Pub or relax in the elegant surroundings of the bar at Palm Court, for morning coffee, afternoon tea or cocktails to the accompaniment of light music.
